Built to work. October 6, 2011 Reviewer: George W. from Florissant, MO United States   This will be my 6th Benchmade knife all together and this is by far one of the toughest models they make. D2  is a awesome blade material (takes a little more effort to sharpen though) for high abuse applications. The only surprise when this knife arrived was how thick the handle was 5/8 " not counting pocket clip. This does allow for a great gripping surface especially with the spines that run inline with the blade. Overall this knife is a little bulky, but it's necessary to get this level of durability. I am happy with my purchase, as always a fast and efficient buying expirence from the blade shop. Was this review helpful to you?
