i had my Master hunter plus with me last year, and what can i say? the thin edge is tough enough to chop bone and wood, the blade is long enough to have retention, the large point is still effective, the san mai III ( not Carbon V, i know their inventory isnt 5 years old) blade didnt corrode at all while wet the whole week. the sheath and handle are synthetic which is better than natural materials, because it doesnt warp rot or crack under the weather or temperature. The gut hook also opened up the body and legs while skinning like a zipper, and it will still race through a sheet of paper.
