ok, bad news first. its hard to sharpen, scratches easily, and the point wasnt designed for strength. however, the blade is extremely thick, intimidating. shiny, you get it.its meant to cut...holding a knife at an angle helps it cut better, and a groove is like a giant serration. the blade has both. and ,the point grabs and rips whatever is left, hehehe... the feel of the knife is "quality". its not too heavy to be annoying, but its enough to make you think theres something there. the lock up is very tight. secure. snapping it open is just pleasurable to a fine knife lover.definitely looks good next to my black sable. ill have enough play money saved in 2 and a half months. well my next purchase will be a Caledonian edge
