Both of my sons carried a 3" clip point Voyager when they went to summer camp. (The camp encourages boys to bring a knife for crafts and other responsible uses). The knife is tough, has a safe and secure lock, and is easy to resharpen. A bit small for me, but perfect for smaller hands or where laws prohibit blades in excess of 3".

Really, if you have a city limit that will let you carry a 3 inch blade, there isnt a point in having anything other than a Cold steel Medium voyager. ive tested and abused the XL model for well over a year, and am greatly impressed. I have 12 Cold steel knives, and i recommend the Voyager series to a new customer. the steel is actually VG-1, not AUS8A. they used to be, but the letters on the knife im looking at that i ordered from thebladeshop is VG-1, which i like more. higher carbon content, better performance.
