this knife is the real deal,not a butterfly,this knife when esed properly has no wasted movements and it practically opens and closes itself with just a little time and patience you can learn to use this effectively,both opened and closed as a yawara.you can cut slice stabb and hit or use lock and holds very rapidly from one move to the next.the blade is super sharp and holds its edge and point.the lock is secure enough to prevent unwanted openings yet easy enough to open with a flick of the wrist or the handy thumb bolts,both on the case and the blade.cold steel makes great knives and this is one that will change the way fighters are used and make the butterly nearly obsolete.i love mine and you will to i am sure.
