Great Sharpener October 12, 2008 Reviewer: Anonymous person   This sharpener comes highly recommended by me. I don't know anything about sharpening kitchen knifes (which the packaging indicates it's for, now that I have it), but it is excellent for sharpening my other knives (pocket knives, survival knives, etc. Haven't tried it on a sword, sure it would work well.) For anything other than a good katana, this steel is plenty fine (it's 25 microns, as compared to a 7 micron ceramic.) It will give you a razors edge w/ micro serrations from the diamond, so you'll have an excellent slicing/cutting edge. Was this review helpful to you?
