Okay knife, not great . . . December 17, 2008 Reviewer: Benjamin Chan from Lawrenceville, GA United States   I purchased two of these.  One for myself and one as a Christmas gift. I'm not impressed with the quality control.  On one of them, the blade doesn't seem to close in enough into the handle, so the tip sticks out slightly, which means that one could inadvertently slice his finger open if he happens to catch the tip, even though the blade is closed.  On the other one, this problem doesn't exist. The tip is recessed all the way in when the blade is closed.  But when open, there's some lateral play in the blade, while there is none in the other knife.  Quality seems inconsistent.  I usually buy Benchmade.  SOG's quality is nowhere near that of Benchmade's.
