Like all Spyderco knives, it comes factory sharpened to a razor edge. It's got great edge retention and durability. It's simple and straightforward; no gimmicks, no mistakes.
But what I really like most about it are the looks. It's nice enough that you can carry it to nicer occasions and not feel out-of-place, unlike some other knives people carry everyday.
This is a knife you can take to church w/ you, or to a nice restaurant. And, of course, it'll still do its job when you need it.
